"Away We Go" Review

So I just left the movies and I am feeling quite good. Before I get started with this review, it is mandatory that I say…I am officially in love with John Krasinski…more to come on that later.

‘Away We Go’ is a great slice of life film about a couple (Krasinski and SNL alum Maya Rudolph) who are expecting their first child journey across the U.S in search of the perfect place to call ‘home’. Along the way they encounter old friends and family who help them unearth the definition of ‘home’ for themselves.

Directed by Sam Mendes, ‘Away We Go’ is just the right amount of movie. Great story. Great writing. The screenplay is well written, witty, hilarious, and consistent. The film is not too long…..and performances are spectacular. The chemistry between Kransinski and Rudolph is amazing. If you love Kransinski’s Jim Halpert in “The Office”, be prepared to swoon the entire movie from all the cuteness.

There is also a great supporting cast who make the movie all on their own ,Maggie Gyllenhaal, Allison Janney, Jeff Daniels, and Catherine O’Hara just to name a few.

On the star meter I am going to give ‘Away We Go’ 5 out 5 stars. Yes…it’s that good!!

This movie is real. No fancy effects. No big budget. Just real.

You won’t be dissappointed.
