Reel News Blurb: Tim Burton eyes the Addams Family

Their kooky and their spooky and their coming to the big screen again!! But this time in 3D stop motion animation, and of course under the direction of Tim Burton.

According to Deadline, Burton has acquired the rights to the Addams drawings which first appeared in The New York in the early 1900s.  And thanks to the success of “Alice in Wonderland” he has chosen “Addams” as his next 3D venture.

It’s unsure if the film will be all stop motion animation but one can hope that there will be a little live action included. I personally love the Addams Family movies as a kid, so I can’t wait to see how this is going to turn out.

I loved the tv show from the 60’s and the movies were so much fun.

The line “Is your lemonade made from real lemons? Are your girl scout cookies made from real girl scouts” always makes me laugh. lol

I think Tim Burton will do a fun job with it. We’ll see.
    Thanks for the info.
