Oscars Back to February in 2011

It’s been a busy morning but while I have the time, I’m going to flood this blog with updates; starting with the fresh announcement of the Academy Awards moving back to February.

About an hour ago the AMPAS announced their awards season schedule (which will be posted below and here), with a very important and necessary change. After coming off a marathon awards season due to the Winter Olympics, the 83rd Academy Awards will be held at the Kodak Theatre on February 27, 2011.  And of course the show will be broadcasted on ABC.

Also make sure to mark your awards season calendars for the Producers Guild Awards, which will be held on January 22nd, 2011.

February will be here before we know it,  so save the date and make sure to check back here for all things Oscar. (you know we have you covered)

Additional dates include:

Tuesday, January 25, 2011:
Nominations announced 5:30 a.m. PT, Samuel Goldwyn Theater

Wednesday, February 2, 2011:
Final ballots mailed

Monday, February 7, 2011:

Saturday, February 12, 2011:

Tuesday, February 22, 2011:
