‘The Kids are All Right’ Official Trailer

Another Sundance hit “The Kids Are All Right” gets in on the trailer action as well. The film received rave reviews in Park City this year and in turn was picked up by Focus Features. It’s scheduled to release this summer but personally I wish the studio would hold off awhile, because I believe this film has all the ingredients for an Oscar Campaign. The trailer is lot funnier than I imagined it being, featuring  a wonderful story, amazing ensemble cast and a rare portrait of a modern family. Hopefully its well received by the viewing public.

Here’s the official synopsis from Sundance followed by the trailer:

A couple, Nic and Jules (Annette Benning and Julianne Moore), live with their teenage children, Joni and Laser (Mia Wasikowska and Josh Hutcherson), in a cozy craftsman bungalow in Los Angeles. As Joni prepares for college, her younger brother pesters her for a big favor—help him find their biological father. Against her better judgment, she makes a call to the sperm bank; the bank, in turn, calls Paul (Mark Ruffalo) and asks him if he’s willing to meet his daughter. He agrees, and a complicated new chapter begins for the family.
