Weekend Box Office: May 14-16, 2010

Good morning movie lovers! Spent the weekend without internet access, but it was well worth it because I got to see my best friend of 16 years graduate from college. It was a huge milestone that I get to recreate in about 6 months. Yay!!!

Because of the weekend of festivities, I  didn’t get to catch any new movies this weekend, but I’ve heard great things about them all. So with that— here’s your weekend box office:

1. Iron Man 2

2. Robin Hood

3. Letters to Juliet

4. Just Wright

5. How to Train Your Dragon

6. A Nightmare on Elm Street

7. Date Night

8. The Back-up Plan

9. Furry Vengeance

10. Clash of the Titans

No real surprises here as Iron Man 2 claims the top spot for the second week in a row.  Robin Hood opened up at number 2 with a takeaway of $37.1M.  I was expecting a bit more from Robin Hood, but if you ask me, the marketing for the film was lackluster.   Romance claimed the number three and four spots in the form of Letters to Juliet and Just Wright, respectively, and How to Train Your Dragon rounded out the top 5.

Out this week MacGruber and Shrek Forever After
