The first cover of The New Hollywood Reporter

Amy Adams,  Annette Bening, Helena Bonham-Carter, Nicole Kidman, Natalie Portman and Hilary Swank have become the talk of the town, and the cover girls for The Hollywood Reporter’s relaunched magazine.

Yearly, The Hollywood Reporter host various round tables featuring the most buzz-worthy talent in town.  It’s a great way to see talented individuals speak on their craft in a no-holds barred conversation but as we’ve witnessed in previous years, the round-table participants are  in no way, shape, or form any indication of how the nominations will fare.

Here’s what The Hollywood Reporter had to say about this year’s round table:

The actresses discussed everything from dealing with director conflict on the set, the emotional impact of certain roles, to how they balance motherhood and work. The interviews were conducted on Oct. 25 at the Siren Studios in Los Angeles. The group was photographed by photographer Lorenzo Agius.

Videos of the round-table will be up later today on The Hollywood Reporter’s website, and you can purchase the newly revamped magazine at your local Barnes & Noble.

Very cool. I had no idea they were relaunching.

  2. It’s a lot bigger of a magazine too, like old school Rolling Stone size. It seems like this new version is trying to cater more to both film industry people as well as fans, whereas before it was mostly just an industry thing.
