‘The Social Network’ and ‘Inception’ win at the Writers Guild Awards

Seemingly getting back on track tonight after losing out on preceding guild awards, Aaron Sorkin’s  captivating script for The Social Network took home the Adapted Screenplay prize tonight at the WGA Awards.  Also pulled back into fray was Christopher Nolan, who won the Original Screenplay honor for Inception beating out The Kids Are All Right.

It’s been quite the weekend for The Social Network, who also won big last night at the USC Scripter Awards. From the looks of things the film is a lock to win Adapted Screenplay at the Oscars, but can they still pull of a Best Picture and Best Director win?  Whatever case may be,  a big congrats to Aaron Sorkin and Christopher Nolan for their well deserved wins tonight!!
