The Real Reel’s Official Oscar Predictions

In true go big or go home fashion, feast your eyes on The Real Reel’s Official Academy Awards predictions! Yes, I’m aware that The King’s Speech is the favorite to win but if you direct your attention down below, you’ll see that I’m  riding with The Social Network until the final tally is revealed. No guts, no glory!  You’ll see my love for the film with predictions in the following categories, Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Original score.

In the performance categories,  I decided not to stray too far from the standard this season, as I’ve predicted the usual suspects to claim the night’s top honors.  If there were to be an upset in any of the acting categories, look for it early in the evening within the supporting races; Geoffrey Rush and/or Helena Bonham Carter could easily sneak away with a win, as well as Hailee Steinfeld.
