Justin Bieber and Ashton Kutcher to team up for ‘What Would Kenny Do?’

Justin Bieber is taking this never say never thing seriously and is now bringing his talents to the silver screen.  The teen pop heart-throb  is looking to star in What Would Kenny Do?, a comedy that will also feature Ashton Kutcher who hasn’t been in a decent role since Punk’d.

The R-rated script, written by Chris Baldi and re-written by Scott Neustadter and Michael Weber of (500) Days of Summer fame, made the 2008 Black List of the best unproduced scripts and is being produced by Bieber stan Will Smith’s production shingle  Overbrook Entertainment, along with Kutcher’s Katalyst Films.

The premise of the film is pretty much what you would expect to see Kutcher attached to nowadays, a 17-year-old kid (Biebs) meets his adult self in the form of a hologram (Kutcher) and the hologram helps him through the hardships of high school.

Seriously? Where was all this love for teen pop stars when NSYNC was around? Why wasn’t anyone infiltrating them into every facet of the entertainment industry? I would have loved to see JC, Joey, Chris, Lance and Justin in a movie together alongside the late 90s equivalent of Ashton Kutcher! And no, On the Line doesn’t count.

The Biebs hasn’t officially committed to the project yet but its more than likely that he will, and when that happens What Would Kenny Do will surely claim the number one spot at the box office; of course after it’s been whittled down to a PG-13 rating for Bieber’s legion of fans.
