Chloe Moretz joins Tim Burton’s ‘Dark Shadows’

How do you know when you’ve become a bonafide star? For Chloe Moretz I’d imagine that moment came after she wrapped Hugo Cabret with Martin Scorsese, or maybe it was her recently announced casting in Tim Burton’s Dark Shadows.

Whenever the epiphany came, it’s becoming quite obvious that Moretz is the next big thing.  The 14- year old, who is currently filming Hick with Juliette Lewis and Alec Baldwin,  has officially signed on to star opposite Michelle Pfeiffer and Johnny Depp in Burton’s adaptation of the popular television series.  Moretz will portray Carolyn, the daughter of Pfeiffer’s character Elizabeth Collins Stoddard.

With a cast that also includes Michael Sheen, Jackie E. Haley, Eva Green and a presumed appearance by Burton’s misses Helena Bonham – Carter (lets hope that the case),  this movie is bound to be filled with all kinds of win.
