What do you do after your remake of an 80s classic makes $56 million in a weekend? Well if you’re Columbia Pictures you start developing a sequel, duh.
Yep, that’s right— the remake of The Karate Kid is getting a sequel. Raise your hand if you think this is a bad idea. Don’t we already know what’s going to happen? Why not just skip all of this madness and go directly to a remake of ‘The Next Karate Kid’ starring Kristen Stewart.
Actually, I’d pay money to see K-Stew take on the Hilary Swank role from the last installment of the original ‘Karate Kid’ movies.
