John C.Reilly joins Roman Polanski’s ‘God of Carnage’

According to Deadline, John C. Reilly has become the final piece of the Roman Polanski’s casting puzzle for his upcoming film, ‘God of Carnage.’  Reilly, who recently wrapped ‘Cedar Rapids’ with Sigourney Weaver, will join a cast of equal caliber that includes  Academy Award winners  Jodie Foster, Kate Winslet and Christoph Waltz.  Awesome company.

‘God of Carnage’, which was adapted by Polanski from the Tony-award winning play by Yasmina Reva, tells the story of two sets of parents who meet up after their kids get into a fight, and find that they dislike each other as well.  No word yet on when the film will begin filming.

In other news:

  • Kate Hudson finally took my advice and got herself a new agent. The actress has left WME, the agency that had her doing the same film for the last four years, and has signed on with CAA. Here’s hoping for a breakthrough role! [Deadline]
